The Lufkin Shrine Club is here to make sure that those crippled and burned kids (up to age 18) that need the special care from Shrine hospitals, get that help. Twenty-one area Shriners and wives worked with Mike and Carol Gheragherehchi and the IHOP staff to make this a banner day for the Lufkin Shrine Club. The donations that were given by the customers resulted in $4,425 that go to support the Shriners and the crippled and burned children that need help in our community getting into the Shrine Hospitals. This is the second year in a row that the community has made the Lufkin IHOP take first place in donations for the East Texas area. 28 and free short stack of pancakes was offered by the Lufkin IHOP to their customers.
